About Me

I'm Hannah Avery and I am currently finishing my studies at Massey University, in a Bachelor of Design with Honours majoring in Visual Communication design. I am currently looking to get my foot into the door of the design industry and start working as a junior designer. I am a bubbly person who likes to put their head down and get immersed in the task at hand. I am an all round creative person and love to sew and create in my free time. I am passionate about design, and how ideas can be communicated in exciting and different ways. I am interested in a wide range of design and creative outputs. This means that I have tried a wide range of disciplines in the design field while I have been studying including, web and app design, user experience and design strategies. However, what I believe my strongest skill sets are in brand identity and campaigns, editorial and layout design and also film and video editing. I believe all these areas are as important as each other in finding the best way to communicate a chosen idea.
